Privacy Policy

Who we are. iWaydii (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a conversation-card app focused on simple, meaningful fun.

1) Data we collect

• You can use most of the app anonymously, with no account and no personal details.
• If you create an account or submit a card to the community, we collect your email address and the display name you choose. You can keep your name hidden from other users.
• We collect limited usage and diagnostic data (e.g. sessions, decks and cards played, time zone and language, device type, crash reports) to operate and improve the app.
• Our analytics may include session replays (a reconstruction of how you interact with the app’s screens) and approximate location from your IP address, used only to improve usability and fix problems. You can opt out in Settings.
• We have no ads, no cross-app tracking, and we never sell your data.

2) How we use data

• To keep the app running, fix bugs, and understand which features and decks people enjoy most.
• To moderate community content and keep the app safe. If you submit or report a card, we keep a record of it, including who reported what — visible to our moderators only.
• Questions you write in My Deck are also copied into a shared idea pool in anonymised form, with no link to you, so we can learn what themes matter and watch for abuse. These anonymised copies may remain after you delete the original or your account — they cannot be traced back to you.

3) Storage & location

Data is stored securely with trusted cloud providers using standard safeguards. Your data may be processed outside your country; where it leaves the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards.

4) Device permissions

The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.

5) Retention & deletion

We keep account data while your account is active, and usage data only as long as needed, then delete or aggregate it. You can delete your account from within the app. Anonymised idea-pool copies and aggregated statistics (which cannot identify you) may be retained. 6) Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time via support@iwaydii.com. You may also complain to a data-protection authority — in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission.

7) Children’s privacy

iWaydii is designed for users 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

8) Third-party services

To operate and distribute the app we rely on trusted cloud, analytics, email, and app-store services (e.g. Apple and Google), which may process limited data under their own policies.

9) Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
